How is the Czech A2 exam scored?
There are 110 points across the four parts. They are marked in two halves: reading, writing and listening together need 42 of 70, and speaking needs 24 of 40 on its own. Both halves must pass. A strong written half does not carry a weak speaking one — clear one and miss the other, and you sit the whole exam again.
What happens in the speaking part?
Fifteen minutes with a live examiner, in four tasks: eight questions across two everyday topics, two formal dialogues where you do the asking, a four-picture story told in the past tense, and an informal negotiation between three options. It is worth 40 of the 110 points.
